Dear Colleague,
The Department for Education (DfE) has recognised King’s and Great Schools Trust as an EdTech Demonstrator School. This means that we are now part of a national programme of schools across England who exhibit effective practice in the use of online learning.
The programme was announced last year to boost peer-to-peer support in the use of digital technology and has now been tailored to help schools provide education remotely.
Demonstrator Schools are able to provide professional development, focussed on supporting the introduction and delivery of remote teaching practices, including parents events, CPD, curricula etc. The programme targets those who are most in need of support; for example, those getting to grips with using online platforms or schools with the most disadvantaged learners.
As part of this programme King’s can offer the following services:
Advice, guidance and training including group support through webinars, recorded content and peer to peer discussion,
Materials designed to support the development of online platforms and digital safety,
Solutions and guided practice for supporting pupils with SEND and
Assist in the promotion of pupil and teacher well-being during remote learning.
Further information and updates can also be found here. If you would like to work with us, we’d love to hear from you. In order to register your interest, please visit the London Grid for Learning LGfL website and complete the short request form, the form works best with explorer or chrome. LGfL will then act as an intermediary in our partnership and will liaise directly with us to allocate you as a school for support.
In the options please choose King’s Warrington which is our sister school, they will then forward your request for support directly to ourselves and we will get in touch shortly.
We look forward to working with you.
Best regards,
Peter Gaul
Principal
