In March, the annual Education Fair was held in the School Hall for Year 11 students. The object of the Fair is to widen student’s awareness of career opportunities open to them on leaving The Hawthorne’s School, covering academic courses, vocational courses and apprenticeships. Year 11 students were able to concentrate on obtaining information, registering their interest and also obtaining forms for applications. Students enjoyed the day and commented on being able to ask questions in a relaxed atmosphere. We would like to thank the Year 11 students, the organisations attending and the school staff for supporting this event.
