Recently we had our Presentation Evening, an event that takes a huge amount of planning in advance.  It is an evening of celebration and one that makes a real impression on our community.  At King’s Leadership Academy Hawthornes we believe it is our job to stretch our students’ view of the world in every way we can, as often as we can. It is to raise their expectations and challenge them by a variety of experiences, both within and beyond the classroom.

A powerful way of doing this is the presentation of role models. Presentation evening was a stunning example. Students and their families were treated within an hour to a star of the West End singing, a rising star of the British military speaking directly to them and a world renowned scientist. All three were there valuing them and their achievements in the warmest of ways.
