Pupils from year 8 at King’s Leadership Academy Hawthornes had the superb opportunity to attend the third world renowned Giant Spectacular in Princes Park Liverpool on Friday and what a day it was!

People from all over the world gathered in their thousands, waiting patiently in the historic park for the Little Boy Giant and his dog Xolo!

Soon enough, the guests of honour arrived to a backdrop of loud reggae music and The Little Boy was fed by his army of Lilliputians and gulped down three courses, including fruit and carrot cake, before brushing his teeth!

Xolo couldn’t contain his excitement pulling off his table cloth and showing off to audiences and even saying hello to several of our pupils personally, before settling down for a rest with his big Giant friend.

A truly memorable day rich with art and culture, even the rain couldn’t dampen our spirits!
