Catrin and Kate from Year 8 had a very interesting and informative time at St. Hilda’s this week. Students met Bethany and Hollie, Year 12 A’level art students, who are also making a creative response to the art work of Patricia Mackinnon-Day “Calling the Sheds” Tate collective visit we made last term.

Our students learned how to develop ideas and make a personal response based on the work of others. This is a direct link with GCSE and A’level Art specifications.

The St. Hilda’s students and teacher were keen to keep in touch with us and have offered to deliver some creative workshops and discuss their work to our pupils in the future.
